Among other projects to support older adults and their caregivers in Central Texas, the Aging Services Council publishes a guide for caregivers to help them navigate through the resources available.
This guide is a tool to help older adults and their families understand their options and make wise decisions when wading through the maze of health and social services issues. It provides pertinent information on issues often faced by older adults and their spouses, families, and friends. If any portion of this manual makes you feel more assured and confident about approaching community care services, our goal will have been reached.
