AGE of Central Texas provides education and support to people all along the spectrum of growing older. AGE serves older adults and caregivers through its primary interrelated programs: adult day health care, caregiver education and resources, early memory loss support, health equipment lending, and peer-based computer classes for seniors.
Coming of Age
Coming of Age is dedicated to assisting individuals 50+ to explore their interests and strengthen communities through civic engagement. Coming of Age also offers training opportunities for nonprofits to attract and retain skilled older adult volunteers.
Meals on Wheels of Central Texas
Meals on Wheels and More delivers lunchtime meals each weekday to homebound people who can no longer prepare meals for themselves and assists clients with other services that promote independent living, including case management for existing clients, grocery shopping assistance, home repair and safety modifications, delivery of monthly extra food items and providing pet care provisions.
SAIVA
SAIVA provides volunteering opportunities to promote well-being, education, and friendship to seniors with South Asian cultural interests.
WellMed Charitable Foundation Senior Community Center
The WellMed Charitable Foundation Senior Community Center offers fitness activities, nutrition and wellness classes, computer lab and instruction, information on Medicare and other public benefits and caregiver education and resources.
